Bozeman Brewing needed a new line of beer bottle labels for their more sophisticated sours and barrel aged varieties, Bozeman Underground. I designed a new look to connect with the more refined drinker.

Bozeman Brewing Company is the original brewery in Bozeman, MT. Their cans are recognized throughout the region for their swoopy font. For this project I created on-brand limited release and seasonal beer labels. Labels include: Blackmore Lager, Taurus Imperial Stout, Route Chute Blonde Ale, Gallagator Doppel Bock, Gone Again Golden & Hey Bear Honey Kolsch.

William Lloyd was a gated community in Mount Hood, Oregon. They commissioned me to create a logo and letterhead for their business. I combined the double “L” in “Lloyd” to create a “W” for the mark. I also combined the willowy signature font with Trajan to give it an elegant yet artistic feel.

Blue Glass Bead is a jewelry company started by Nancy Neubert. She creates unique pieces by hand and attaches a blue bead to each piece as a signature. She wanted a clean, modern logo with a personal feel.

Amy contacted me back in 2013 to discuss creating a brand for a new music education business she and her husband were starting in Casper, Wyoming. It’s since bloomed into a staple in the community. They do all sorts of music education for the littlest kiddos up through high school students. It’s been really awesome being there from the beginning and watching them grow.

Girls Talk Math is a 2-week day camp that encourages girls to consider careers in mathematics. The girls explore interesting mathematical concepts, the history of women in mathematics, and create a blog and podcast series.
Francesca and Katrina wanted a logo that was fresh, modern and feminine, but not overly girlie. I combined the math, girl and podcast themes into a logo that's fun to stick on all kinds of swag.

The Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) was hoping to boost membership with a fun, eye-catching campaign. They wanted something that stood out in a sea of beautiful outdoor activity shots. I came up with the Born to be a Member campaign during a brainstorming meeting. I then brought the idea to life by mixing babies and the outdoors in original ways.

Warren Miller Performing Arts Center or WMPAC is a cultural center in Big Sky, MT. Each year they bring world-class shows to their stage and Classic Ink creates a complimentary program and year-long promotional advertising . The theme this year was a tribute to the artistic spirit of Warren Miller. A spirit of freedom is expressed in the spreads with snow explosions, splatters and brush stroke graphics.

Warren Miller Performing Arts Center or WMPAC is a cultural center in Big Sky, MT. Each year they bring world-class shows to their stage and Classic Ink creates a complimentary program and year-long promotional advertising . This year they wanted to express the energy that a viewer feels when they watch a performance. I came up with the idea of using neon geometric shapes to weave in and out of the images and set a glow to the performances they illuminate.

Jameson is a Bitcoin expert and wanted his website to showcase his many articles and presentations while also being a place for people to learn more about the cryptocurrency. He wanted a responsive site written that he would update and add to with his knowledge of HTML.
I designed and coded a site that was professional and futuristic but yet simple to use and easy to update. In late 2017 the site was getting 2,000 - 3,000 unique visitors per day topping off at 6,000 on Jan 5, 2018.

Fortis came to me to get an updated, responsive website that showed what set them apart from their competition. They reiterated that they wanted their site to quickly showcase their work without being overwhelming. I designed and coded a site that was professional, yet artistic using Squarespace as the platform so it would be easy to maintain and update.

I cut up a photograph of snow to create a snow-cat/dog holiday card for the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. It is complete with hats, coal eyes, and other typical snow-man trimmings.

Pawtoberfest is the Humane Society’s Octoberfest fundraiser where they provide a beer garden, food and festivities to raise money for their shelter animals. This design wasn’t chosen by HSPPR (who preferred photographs to illustration at this point in time), but I liked it so much that I thought I’d include it in my portfolio.

Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) needed a booklet that helped employees learn about I.T. I designed a piece that used a combo of elementary and scientific design to illustrate the simple steps in a fun, but educational way.

The Brogans are a husband and wife team. They met in Hawaii and are passionate about travel and adventure which is shown in their vividly colored landscapes and action oriented snapshots. I wanted their logo to combine their love of photography and Hawaii. The symbol of the logo combines a shutter and a wave and I gave it an ocean spray texture to complement the font.
